It is so many dog Shelter throughout USA. Dog lover so really care about them. They build a shelter to relocate dogs from the streets or because the owner abandoned them. It is so sad when we read the news how some people still mistreat dog. They do not have right to do that. Dog is animal that we need to take care of it as same as human being. Animal cruelty is still number problem in US. They use a dog for bad thing; like dog fighting. They gamble; they try to make money of it. It is easy money. They just need to have a place far and hidden from the society and invite friends who have a pit bull dog. Whatever their reason, it is just not right.Did you hear about Michael Vick case? He did dog fighting. All US people was mad with him and he got in to the jail. He loses his career. So unfortunate, someone who is well known did such horrible thing. Nobody knows is it really he stops doing it or continuing? It looked like he stopped but you would never know. We need to be conscious about it. It is not just protecting only one kind of animal (dog); the entire animal in this planet too. We have to protect them.
A dog shelter, they need support from us. Financially, theyare independent. They accept any donator. What they do in the shelter is to protect the dog, nurture them and this is heart breaking thing to say; they put them in sleep forever. They do not have choices since there is not much money to pay everything. They need to pay the bill, employees, dog food and etc. In emergency situation, what they can do?
